This is something we need to go checkout and tryout on Asterisk. It would be a good “trial” for our customers if they wish to have it installed to improve overall network utilization. We have lots of successful stories with those using this codec and using it over unreliable networks such as the internet, VPN etc..

Anyway, we will try to test it on our test images/systems and let you guys know what’s the deal with this freebie :)
